🇮🇹 I Calanchi di Pisticci, nel cuore della Basilicata, offrono uno spettacolo naturale unico. Queste formazioni argillose, modellate nel corso di millenni dall’erosione dell’acqua e del vento, creano un paesaggio che ricorda la superficie lunare. Le loro creste frastagliate e i profondi solchi disegnano un territorio di rara bellezza e suggestione.   
In questa serie fotografica, ho cercato di catturare l’essenza di questi luoghi: la luce che cambia durante il giorno, le ombre che si allungano al tramonto, e la sensazione di trovarsi in un luogo fuori dal tempo. Ogni scatto è un invito a esplorare la maestosità e la fragilità di questo paesaggio, testimone silenzioso della forza della natura e della sua capacità di plasmare la terra.

These clay formations, shaped over millennia by wind and water erosion, create a landscape that recalls the surface of the moon. Their jagged ridges and deep gullies draw a terrain of rare beauty and striking visual power.
In this photographic series, I set out to capture the essence of this land: the shifting light throughout the day, the stretching shadows at sunset, and the surreal sense of standing in a place suspended in time.
Each image is an invitation to explore the grandeur and fragility of a landscape silently shaped by nature’s slow, relentless force.
