I progetti fotografici che presento in questa sezione nascono da una ricerca personale continua: uno sguardo che si evolve, cambia direzione, si approfondisce. Sono lavori aperti, in costante trasformazione, perché anche il mio modo di osservare e raccontare il mondo cambia con il tempo. Alcuni di questi progetti sono iniziati anni fa e ancora oggi si arricchiscono di nuove immagini, nuovi incontri, nuove riflessioni. Questo spazio è, e resterà, un cantiere vivo: testimonianza di un percorso che non si è mai concluso.The photographic projects presented in this section are part of an ongoing personal exploration — a gaze that evolves, shifts, and deepens over time. These are open works, constantly transforming, because the way I observe and tell the world changes with me. Some of these projects began years ago and are still growing, enriched by new images, encounters, and reflections. This space is, and will remain, a living worksite: a testament to a journey that is never truly finished.
LEGAMI INVISIBILI - INVISIBLE BONDS
🇬🇧 This section brings together photographic projects focused on the deep and multifaceted relationship between humans and their companion animals. Dogs, cats, snakes, chameleons, and other living beings share our homes and lives, weaving bonds that speak of affection, dependence, similarity, care — and sometimes, of power or misunderstanding. Through portraits on black or neutral backgrounds — often with the animal cradled in the hands of its owner — I explore the intimacy of this relationship, where two beings observe, choose, and gradually mirror one another.This is a personal, ongoing research. A living project, growing over time and experience, shaped also by my daily perspective as a veterinary doctor. It is a visual investigation into the invisible: the silent dialogue between human and animal, built on glances, gestures, choices, and shared presence.🇮🇹 Questa sezione raccoglie i progetti fotografici in cui indago il legame profondo e sfaccettato tra l’uomo e gli animali da compagnia. Cani, gatti, serpenti, camaleonti e altre presenze condividono con noi la vita quotidiana, intrecciando relazioni che parlano di affetto, bisogno, somiglianza, cura, e talvolta anche di dominio o incomprensione. Attraverso ritratti ambientati su sfondo nero o neutro, spesso con l’animale tenuto tra le mani del proprietario, cerco di esplorare questa relazione intima e complessa, dove due esseri si osservano, si scelgono, e finiscono spesso per assomigliarsi. È una ricerca personale, in divenire, un progetto vivo, che cresce con il tempo e con l’esperienza, alimentato anche dal mio sguardo quotidiano di medico veterinario. Un’indagine visiva che vuole raccontare l’invisibile: il silenzioso dialogo tra uomo e animale, fatto di sguardi, gesti, scelte, e presenza reciproca.
PAESAGGI UMANI-HUMAN LANDSCAPES
🇮🇹 Questa sezione raccoglie progetti fotografici che esplorano il legame profondo e reciproco tra le persone e l’ambiente che abitano. Che si tratti dei villaggi remoti dello Zambia o delle colline aspre di Orgosolo, il paesaggio non è mai un semplice sfondo: è una presenza viva, che plasma e viene plasmata da chi lo vive. Attraverso dittici in bianco e nero, che accostano ritratti intimi a scene di vita quotidiana, cerco di raccontare storie di adattamento, interazione, appartenenza. Non sono semplici documentazioni visive, ma tentativi di comprensione: come si forma l’identità in relazione al contesto, e come il contesto porti impressa la traccia dell’essere umano.Questi lavori sono il frutto di tempo, ascolto e presenza. Fanno parte di una ricerca personale che continua a crescere nel tempo e che, in molti modi, definisce il mio modo di essere fotografo. Non sono storie concluse, ma percorsi aperti attraverso cui rifletto sul legame essenziale tra l’uomo e il suo mondo.
🇬🇧 This section gathers photographic projects that explore the deep, reciprocal relationship between people and the environments they inhabit.Whether in the remote villages of Zambia or the rugged hills of Orgosolo, the landscape is never just a backdrop — it is a living presence that shapes, and is shaped by, those who dwell within it.Through black-and-white diptychs that pair intimate portraits with everyday scenes, I seek to tell stories of interaction, adaptation, and mutual influence. These are not simply visual documents, but attempts to understand how identity is formed in dialogue with place. Each project is the result of time, presence, and attentive observation. They are part of an ongoing personal journey — a photographic research that continues to evolve and that, in many ways, defines who I am.
These works are not finished stories, but open paths through which I try to reflect on the essential bond between human beings and their world.

🇮🇹In questa sezione raccolgo alcuni dei reportage che per me hanno avuto un significato speciale. Sono progetti nati dall’incontro profondo con luoghi e persone che mi hanno colpito nel profondo, per la loro forza, bellezza, contraddizioni o umanità. Non sono semplici raccolte di immagini: sono tentativi di raccontare, attraverso la fotografia, frammenti di mondo che mi hanno lasciato qualcosa. Ogni uno è il risultato di un’esperienza vissuta intensamente, spesso sul campo per giorni, immerso nelle storie che volevo raccontare.🇬🇧This section brings together some of the reportages that have held special meaning for me. These are projects born from a deep encounter with places and people that moved me—through their strength, beauty, contradictions, or humanity. They are more than just collections of images: they are attempts to tell, through photography, fragments of the world that have stayed with me. Each one featured here is the result of an intensely lived experience, often spent in the field for days, fully immersed in the stories I wanted to share.
